Document how work happens today, identify process gaps, and turn business needs into clear platform requirements.
Map the work before choosing a tool
A platform decision starts with a shared account of the current process. WTA works with the process owner and representative users to trace a recurring journey from its trigger to its accepted outcome. The map includes informal steps, spreadsheets, emails, and approvals alongside formal systems.
What we examine
- Triggers, inputs, outputs, and the definition of completed work.
- Roles, handoffs, waiting time, and recurring exceptions.
- Systems of record, data quality, and integration constraints.
- Permissions, decision authority, and human review requirements.
- Task volume, effort, rework, and the assumptions behind the baseline.
What your team receives
Receive a current-state workflow map, prioritized friction points, a requirements brief, and a record of unresolved questions with owners. We distinguish tasks suited to fixed rules, tasks that may benefit from AI, and decisions that remain with people. The output guides platform selection and identifies prerequisites that should be resolved first.
Prepare for the assessment
Bring a process owner, representative examples approved for sharing, and the names of the systems involved. Complete documentation is not required. Where data is incomplete, we record the uncertainty and agree what must be measured before an investment decision.
The proposal specifies the workflows, interviews, evidence, and deliverables included. The assessment can recommend improving the process without purchasing a new tool.
